Concord introduced a new C1 Chronograph, with a special blue treatment, last month at the Baselworld show. Like the original C1 Chronograph, it comes in a large, but wearable 44 mm size. It has the same signature vulcanized rubber around the replica Breitling A2736223-B8-140A Men's watch bezel and on the crown and pushers, that is seen on all C1 timepieces. Inside, is a nicely decorated automatic chronograph movement (an ETA Valgranges A07.211) with blued screws and a blackened oscillating weight. The dial is carbon fiber and blue, with an exposed date indicator and a three subdials, at 6, 9 and 12 o'clock.
The coolest feature, and what sets this apart from all other C1 chronographs, is the blue PVD case. It has basically been run through a washing machine - giving it a faded blue "destructed look". This June a new company, Snyper, will be launching their first watch. The Snyper One. It utilizes a Valjoux 7755 S caliber mechanical movement (very common and reliable mechanical movement). The base movement is housed inside a 44mm black PVD treated steel case. The strap is rubber with a PVD buckle. According to Snyper, the replica Breitling A2536313-B6-970A Men's watch first series will be limited to 100 pieces, and are already presold. I like the aggressive look, but I think seven-grand might be a bit too high. I am not sure that the brand value will be high enough to sell these watches in quantity, at this price.
